This medicine is currently unavailable for sale.
The lack of the drug in wholesalers means that it is not possible to import it for the patient.
The solution is to change the formulation of the drug to tablets under the name Sorbifer Durules. Each tablet contains 100 mg of iron(II) in the form of iron(II) sulphate and 60 mg of ascorbic acid, which improves the absorption of iron from the gastrointestinal tract.
