Is it possible that after a few days of taking Feroplex, I have itching all over my body? And what other iron preparation can I buy instead?

Is it possible that after a few days of taking Feroplex I have itching all over my body. Something terrible, as if mosquitoes had bitten me. I have bought 2 packages, I took 5 from one and what to do next?
Is there any other depended that effectively replaces Feroplex ,or similarly ? What is the cause of this itching?

To @Justyna:

The itching of the legs described by you may be an adverse reaction to the Feroplex iron preparation.

Persistence of symptoms for a week after discontinuation of the drug is not unusual, as the body needs time to eliminate the substance. Switching to Sorbifer is a reasonable step, as different forms of iron may be tolerated differently by the patient.

If symptoms persist or worsen, I recommend that you consult your doctor again for possible modification of treatment or additional diagnostic tests.

I'm taking feroplex, I took two packets in total and now I've changed to sorbifere because my legs itch terribly from the knees down, as if mosquitoes had bitten and the doctor suspects that I don't take feroplex for a week now, but they still itch so I don't know if it's from this 😔

The summary of product characteristics of Feroplex does not indicate a risk of adverse skin or mucous membrane effects. Perhaps you are hypersensitive to one of the excipients of this preparation. Usually, Feroplex is a drug that is well tolerated by patients (unlike "traditional" iron tablets, which irritate the gastrointestinal tract quite often). A medical consultation is advisable if the situation does not improve.

Without a prescription, you can buy, for example, Solgar Gentle Iron, which is well absorbed and gentle on the stomach - on our website you can check availability and order it with home delivery or collection at the pharmacy:
