Good morning, can I also take bupropion while taking Glucophage XR. The doctor was informed that he was taking metformin, but I'm afraid he may have cited that information on file.

If your doctor has been told about all the medicines you are taking, you can combine them.
To the best of our knowledge, there are no significant interactions between bupropion and metformin (Glucophage XR)
Caution should be exercised if a person taking bupropion has a history of convulsive seizures, concomitant use of bupropion with hypoglycaemic agents (e.g. Glucophage xr) is a predisposing factor for a decrease in the seizure threshold.
