Good morning, why should the drug immunotrophin be discontinued before surgery to remove the 3rd tonsil in children? Can this drug be interacted with anesthesia, or what could be the reason?

Immunotrophin stimulates the immune system, which is not recommended immediately before surgery - very generally: it is not advisable to stimulate the tonsils to work before surgery.
This preparation does not interact with medications used during general anaesthesia.
