Can I take Depakine at doses of 1500 mg in the morning and 750 mg in the evening?
Good afternoon! I have had absence epilepsy in the daytime for more than 5 years. I started taking twice the dose in the morning than in the evening (1500*750). What does medicine say about this?

According to the manufacturer:
"The usual daily dose is 20 to 30 mg/kg body weight given in one or two divided doses. If necessary, the daily dose may be even higher than 50 mg/kg body weight, provided that the patient's condition is closely monitored."
