Prefaxine 75 and Symfaxin ER 75 are equivalent drugs. I are the trade names for venlafaxine, an antidepressant that belongs to the group of serotonin-norepinephrine reuptake inhibitors (SNRIs). Both medicines come in the form of extended-release capsules.
