The treatment protocol with the use of collagen preparations should be adapted individually to each case.
In acute cases, one injection is given every 24-48 hours in the initial phase, followed by 2 treatments per week until the symptoms are fully resolved.
If necessary, adjuvant therapy may be given in the form of three consecutive weekly injections 3 months after the last main treatment session.
In chronic cases, a schedule of 1 to 2 injections per week for the first 2-3 weeks is usually used, followed by 1 treatment per week for the next 3-6 weeks.
