Is 5 drops Betesda Isn't a day too much for a 9-year-old?
The psychiatrist prescribed my 9-year-old son Bethesda first 1 drop, and after a week we increase by 1 yes to 5 drops. That it is not dangerous and that the dose is not too high. My son has a fear of his surroundings and problems with concentration.

There are studies that have shown that escitalopram is an effective tool in combating anxiety disorders not only in adults but also in children. Due to the limited amount of data on the use of this drug in children, there are no clear dosage guidelines - it should be selected by an experienced doctor.
In the studies, children (around 15 years of age) were given 15 to 20 mg (15-20 drops) of the drug per day.
