Warfin (Warfarin) is an anticoagulant used m.in after heart valve surgeries. A dose of 10 mg may have an effect on INR (International Normalised Ratio, a standardised prothrombin time factor that indicates the ability of the blood to clot). Too high an INR level can increase the risk of bleeding, which in turn can affect the patient's heart rate. Always consult your doctor if you are concerned about the dosage and how it will affect your body, especially after recent aortic valve surgery.
