I recommend the article:
On the other hand, I know that it is used for cracked lips (which are also often licked). Well, I don't need to say much, but I'm a very sensitive mom
In the contraindications, there is information not to use on mucous membranes, hence my worry. Could she have burned herself with the ointment

Please keep an eye on your child. If you experience any worrying symptoms, please contact your doctor.
The protective ointment with vitamin A contains 800 IU of vitamin A per gram. The daily dose of vitamin A for a child over 2 years of age is up to 3000 IU. The package of the ointment is 15 grams. I doubt that the child has ingested more than a gram.
Additional ingredients:
- White petroleum jelly
- Palsgaard 0291
- Lemon flavour
- Purified water
Consumption of petroleum jelly may have a laxative effect.
None of the ingredients are therefore toxic.
Always keep medication out of your child's reach.
