It is not recommended to have sexual intercourse while taking Fluomizin. Intercourse can be started approx. 24 hours after the end of the treatment. If possible, however, it is advisable to wait a few days to be sure that the infection has been cured.
During intercourse, microtraumas and abrasions occur in the vaginal mucosa. Combined with moisture, these are ideal conditions for the development of pathological microorganisms, which can contribute to the recurrence of infection.
