Good morning
Please inform me about the reimbursement of heparin in pregnancy (neoparin).
The family doctor does not want to prescribe it for reimbursement. Am I entitled to it? I checked that this drug is on the list of reimbursable drugs.
I have significantly reduced pappa protein, which can cause fetal death without the use of heparin.

The need for heparin should be decided by the gynaecologist in charge of the pregnancy. On the other hand, a family doctor can issue a prescription on the basis of the continuation of the therapy recommended by the specialist.
A low concentration of pappa protein may indicate a slightly higher risk of having a baby with Down syndrome. It is also associated with the risk of preeclampsia and IUGR, i.e. intrauterine fetal growth retardation.
