How long can Creon be used?

I've been taking Creon 25000 for 10 years. I had acute pancreatitis. My question is how long can I take Creon and if it will harm my pancreas. Not long ago, I learned that taking croon for years can weaken the secretion of pancreatic enzymes. Which will cause pancreatic necrosis .
