I've been taking Amitriptyline 10 mg at night for seven days, is it normal that I can't sleep at night before I couldn't sleep either.

If you have trouble sleeping and it's not enough, you could try pipamperone or combine it with amitryptelin or have your doctor prescribe Lunivia

Insomnia is one of the uncommon side effects of Amitriptylinum. If you notice a side effect, you should report it to your doctor, who will decide what to do next. You may need to include an additional medication to help you fall asleep.
