How to dose Xifaxan?

Hello

I got a xifaxan drug from the doctor and I have written on the prescription 2x3 I understand that 2 times a day after 3 tablets only if there is no mistake because a few years ago I took this drug, but vice versa, whether at all there is such a dosage as 2x3 or rather it should be 3x2. Unfortunately I am unable to contact my doctor

The usual recommended dosage of Xifaxan for adults is from 200mg every 8h to 400mg every 8h. However, the doctor may determine an individual dosage regimen for a particular patient, which will differ from the general recommendations.
