Can Monural cause an autoimmune disease?

It has been 2 years since I took this MONURAL drug and after some time my enzimes in my liver increased and I developed liver epatitis.
Autoimmune disease. My doctor suspects the drug. Consequence: I had to undergo a biopsy and take cortisones in high doses for six mois.et do many blood tests for follow-up. So with my experience... A big flat and caution on taking this drug.

Thank you for posting the information. The leaflet of Monural indicates the possibility of post-antibiotic enteritis (this can happen after taking any antibiotic), but I have not found information about the risk of developing autoimmune hepatitis. Autoimmune diseases very often develop as a complication after a viral/bacterial infection - this possibility should also be taken into account. I encourage you to report the occurrence of an adverse reaction of Monural according to the procedure in the following article:
