From now on, seniors 65+ are entitled to free medicines. Xarelto 20 mg in packs of 14 tablets is available to seniors free of charge. Indications for reimbursement are: Treatment of deep vein thrombosis in people over 18 years of age; Prevention of recurrence of deep vein thrombosis or pulmonary embolism - after acute deep vein thrombosis in people over 18 years of age; Treatment of pulmonary embolism and prevention of recurrent deep vein thrombosis and pulmonary embolism in adults. Only in specific indications (diseases) it is currently: "Treatment of pulmonary embolism and prevention of recurrent deep vein thrombosis and pulmonary embolism in adults; Treatment of deep vein thrombosis in persons over 18 years of age". If the drug has been prescribed so far for 30% reimbursement, it will now be available for free, if it has been discharged at 100% so far, these reimbursement criteria are probably not met.
