Tagged in the question, Elocom ointment is intended for use on the skin. I have not seen that this drug is recommended to be administered into the nose. In pharmacies, preparations in the form of a nasal spray containing the same active substance (mometasone) are available. They are used in adults with allergic rhinitis (hay fever).
