To @Jolanta:

Yes, Etruzil (Letrozole) can affect liver function and is known for its ability to raise liver enzyme levels, including GGTP. This increase should be monitored by a physician during therapy, especially in patients with pre-existing liver conditions.

If you notice worrying symptoms or a significant increase in GGTP, it is worth consulting your doctor to discuss possible treatment adjustments or further tests.

I've been taking it for half a year. I'm 68 years old. I noticed that from time to time I would break out in a cold sweat, and I never had that. Sometimes slight osteomuscular pain
Nothing else.

Most side effects are mild to moderate in severity and usually disappear after a few days or weeks of treatment. Some of the side effects, such as hot flashes, hair loss or vaginal bleeding, can be caused by a lack of estrogen in the body. Very rarely, this medicine may cause, m.in. • Weakness, paralysis or loss of sensation in any part of the body (especially in the arm or leg), lack of coordination of movements, nausea or difficulty speaking or breathing (signs of a brain disease such as stroke). • Sudden compressive chest pain (a sign of heart disease). • Difficulty breathing, chest pain, fainting, rapid heartbeat, bruising of the skin or sudden pain in the arm, leg or foot (signs that indicate a possible blood clot). • Swelling and redness along the course of the vein, with severe tenderness or pain when touched. • High fever, chills or mouth sores due to infection (lack of white blood cells). • Severe, long-term visual acuity disorders. Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
