Is it possible that a year after the end of Izotekem treatment, acne returned?

I am 25 years old. A year ago I finished isotec therapy. The effects were great but now acne, mainly on the jaw, is back. I use dermocosmetics but they don't help much. Is the only way out to return to the isotek? I am afraid that again the effects will not last too long.

Unfortunately, there is a possibility of recurrence of acne after the end of isotretinoin treatment. Isotretinoin is a very effective acne medication and can provide long-term or lasting relief of acne symptoms. Nevertheless, it is not a guarantee of a full cure and some people may experience a recurrence of acne after the end of therapy. The recurrence of acne after isotretinoin can have various causes. This is often due to an individual's tendency to acne or factors that favor its formation, such as improper skin hygiene, hormonal changes, stress, diet or the use of inappropriate cosmetics. I encourage you to consult a doctor who will be able to advise you on the best therapeutic option, including oral or topical treatment.
