Will switching from Samilan to Trittico relieve symptoms such as compulsive eating?

The doctor recommended that I change my medication from Spamilan (10mg) to Trittico CR. I also take Seronil (40mg). I suffer from anxiety disorders and eating disorders. Can I stop taking Spamilan one day and start taking Trittico the next? Changing the drug is aimed at reducing compulsive eating behavior after Spamilan. Will Trittico reduce these attacks?

A change in the dosage of medicines should be determined by a doctor. Usually, sudden discontinuation of Spamilan increases the risk of symptoms such as dizziness and headache, irritability, drowsiness, gastrointestinal symptoms. As you will replace Spamilan with Trittico, these symptoms may be milder. Nevertheless, they may appear, especially in the first 2 weeks after changing the drug. Trittico enhances the effect of Seronil and can calm the ailment that currently accompanies you, i.e. compulsive eating. Therefore, you should observe your body, if the symptoms do not go away, consult your doctor again.
