On the 14th day of the cycle I did a BHCG test, the result was 5.58. After 48 hours, the result is 1.92 - what is wrong that the result instead of increasing falls?

It is assumed that a result below 5-10 mlU/ml means no pregnancy, while above 25 mlU/ml means pregnancy and in the following days/weeks the beta HCG value increases by leaps and bounds. Results oscillating between 5 and 25 require additional tests. The difference in the results of your tests may be caused, for example, by a laboratory error and in this situation it is recommended to repeat the test. A concentration of 1.92 means no pregnancy. A situation in which beta values were very high (corresponding to e.g. 5-6 weeks of pregnancy) and suddenly began to fall sharply is an indication for urgent medical consultation (risk of fetal development disorder). In case of any doubts, I encourage you to take medical advice.
