Usually, a bowel movement occurs a few hours after taking the preparation. If you think the medicine has not worked properly, consult your doctor, you may need to take other measures as well.
It is important to ensure an adequate supply of fluids. According to the manufacturer:
"After 10 minutes of taking the solution reconstituted from the sachet, you should drink about 1.5-2 liters of different clear liquids at a rate of about 250-400 ml per hour. It is recommended to drink clear soups and/or balanced drinks with electrolyte solutions. It is not recommended to drink only pure or demineralized water.
According to anesthesia requirements, the patient should not eat or drink (usually for at least 2 hours) before the procedure."

Hello
I followed my doctor's prescription to the letter: 1st dose at 7pm and 2nd at 10:00 pm with 2 liters of drinks between the 2 doses and 1 liter after the 2nd.
No evacuation before midnight. Several days at night, in water.
In the morning too.
Exam at 10 a.m. My doctor told me that late initiation of the evacuation was common and not a problem. Moreover, afterwards, she confirmed that the preparation had been good. She warned me that watery stools could continue and today, the next day, it does.
Good luck to all and don't worry if citrafleet doesn't work fast. :)
Personally taken at 6:40 p.m. it works 15 min max after until 10 p.m.
First sachet after 5.30 p.m. - after 30 minutes the first effects, drunk 1.75 liters of water (one glass every 15 minutes). Duration of action: frequent bowel movements until 9:00 p.m., then rarely. The second dose at 6.00 am. They gave 2 liters of water in an hour..... It was not possible, but it cleaned nicely, no reservations. According to the doctor, because the procedure was under general anesthesia.
Same for me, it's been 3 hours and nothing
Who has the same problem? This worries me a lot!
After drinking like with a watch in hand, 30 minutes... Visits to the toilet every now and then, and this is only the first dose.
For me, it worked 3 hours after drinking the first dose and after drinking 1.75 liters of fluids (mainly water). After that time, I started to defecate regularly. Then the second dose and another 2 liters of fluids. I received advice from the doctor to walk and/or massage the abdomen while waiting for a bowel movement, because it stimulates the intestines. The last bowel movement was practically water, and that meant the end of this nightmare :)
P.S. CitraFleet liquid is surprisingly tasty. I was expecting a disgusting thing that would give me a headache or a stomachache, but here nothing. The worst thing for me was drinking 2 liters of water after each dose. It was horrible, because my stomach was already so full that it didn't want to take in fluids... But unfortunately, without them, the drug would not work, so I was tough on just doing everything right so that I wouldn't have to repeat the test later.
I was well cleaned for the colonoscopy (I asked the doctor after the procedure).
I'm just after my second colonoscopy, the first one I had with the use of fortrans, drinking 4L of this crap was a terrible experience, in fact I couldn't manage the last 2 glasses because of the gag reflex.
Today, during the second colonoscopy, I was prescribed CitraFleet and to be honest, I am shocked, the first sachet 12 hours before the test, the next one 5 hours later. The first visit to the toilet after 60 minutes, everything was very calm, until I had the impression that it didn't clean well, I was in the toilet for 10 hours maybe 10 times, but without any great pressure compared to fortrans. In both cases, I was cleared 9/9 on the scale at the time of the test. So I recommend Citra even though it seems to work poorly, I felt much better.
Well. It's been 2 hours and 30 minutes and still nothing. This is my 3rd colonoscopy. The 1st with this product. With the old one, after 30 minutes, I emptied myself
At my place, after an hour, I spent the next 6 hours in the toilet and I feel like I have an intestinal flu. And I was prescribed two in the morning before the test and two in the morning on the day of the test. It's good that I took one because it would tear 🥺 my guts It worked very strongly, but I don't know if I'm well cleaned.
Not recommended.
This product is not satisfactory,
The intestine was not clear. We have to start a new camp joy
Finally unlocked after more than 7 hours of taking phew
First take at 4pm, 2nd at 9pm, it's 10:40pm and still nothing.
It's starting to worry me all that.
3 hours have passed and
I'm two hours after the second dose, also nothing. Money down the drain
After an hour.
I have my exam tomorrow and I took the first sachet at 8 p.m. as I was advised the effect started 1 hour later I feel that the night is going to be very short knowing that I have my exam tomorrow at 1:30 p.m
For me, it works after an hour of taking it.
It's been a little more than 4 hours since I took the first sachet and no effect, my night is going to be short and tomorrow I have to go to the clinic for 9 hours, how to know if the treatment will have been effective. Really disappointed with the lack of effectiveness of this product.
40min, but after a day of nothing but liquids, I hope to be able to sleep
In my case, it only worked after drinking the second portion. I also drank a lot of vida, more than they recommend. The examination was carried out, so the intestines were probably well prepared ;)
For me, after 3 hours
I had 3 hours and nothing.. Tomorrow is a test and now what?
For me after 3h
