Good morning, the doctor prescribed me SINUPRET EXTRACT to thin the secretion in the sinuses( three times a day for 2 tablets, that is, 6 tablets a day). In the leaflet of the drug it is written that Sinupret EXtract can be used up to three tablets a day. Should I treat this as a doctor's mistake or can I safely take 6 tablets a day?

Take Sinupret Extract one tablet 3 times a day. The dosage of 2 tablets 3 times a day is used for Sinupret, which contains smaller amounts of active substances. Perhaps the doctor confused the dosage of Sinupret Extract with the usual Sinupret - you can contact him to confirm this. The pharmacist told me that if sinusitis is very persistent, you should take 3x dragee sinupret extract for the first day. So the strongest sinupret and double the dose of it. From the 2nd day then 3x1 dragee. My husband did that and after three days the sinusitis was gone. So yes, you can definitely do it that way. LG
