Has Sulfarinol been withdrawn from pharmacies?

Will sulfarinol be available in pharmacies? Has it been completely withdrawn?

Madame at GALENUS tells me that the current sulfarinol is the same as what they used to produce. You can use :)

TACTICA Pharmaceuticals Sp. z o. o:

https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/75354/sulfarinol-krople-do-nosa/apteki?pvid=18722#stacjonarne

The information can be found on the product page, next to the name of the drug.

covo (Anonymous, 88.156.141.) 2 days ago

the previous producer was the GALENUS cooperative.
And who has taken it down now (which was not possible for years... :) So who is the new manufacturer?

Angelika Talar-Śpionek Pharmacist, Editor

The active substances remain unchanged. 1 ml of solution contains 50 mg sulfathiazole and 1 mg naphazoline. The earlier version contained the same substances, in the same doses.

covo (Anonymous, 88.156.141.) 2 days ago

The conclusion is simple: it makes sense to ask whether today's Sulfarinol is still SULFARINOL :) :)

covo (Anonymous, 88.156.141.) 2 days ago

I have an old package of sulfarinol in front of me.
It contains the active substances: sulfathiazolum + naphazolini nitras. 1 ml of drops contains: sulfathiazole 50 mg, naphazoline nitrate 1 mg. (+ paraffin, water, wax, water, chlorobutanol). It seems that: The KEY thing in the previous sulfarinol was... SULFATHIAZOLE, it gave such a strong bactericidal effect. And I know this from the previous manufacturer. And what now? :)

The drug can be purchased at a pharmacy.
Here you can check availability and make a reservation at a stationary pharmacy or with delivery:

https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/75354/sulfarinol-krople-do-nosa/apteki

The composition of excipients has changed.

The previous version contained: liquid paraffin, water, white wax, chlorobutanol. Now: liquid paraffin, purified water, white wax, methyl parahydroxybenzoate (E218), propyl parahydroxybenzoate (E216).

covo (Anonymous, 88.156.141.) 3 days ago

It's nice that he's back. but:
1/ you can buy it in pharmacies anymore?? 2/ composition - is it the same as before "failure"...?

It did not irritate the nasal mucosa, cleared the nose and you could breathe freely on it. That's why they withdrew him because he helped.

There are no plans to resume production of Sulfarinol drops.

I checked this Sinumedin. Crap. Can anyone recommend a substitute that has Nafazoline? There is nothing left to treat...

Dominika (Anonymous, 46.204.4.) 1 year ago

I recommend Sinumedin as a really worthy replacement. Completely different consistency and form of administration, but the action is identical, you can breathe.

Please restore the production of SULFARINOL!!!!!!! THE BEST ON THE MARKET

Response removed because: duplicates existing content.

Marca (Anonymous, 91.222.142.) 2 years ago

Unfortunately, xylorin express, which has proven itself as a substitute for sulfarinol, is no longer available in wholesalers. Only in a small number of pharmacies are the last pieces available. My city has not been in for a long time. We don't know if they've stopped producing?? Again, you have to look for drops after which you can sleep.

Levofloxacin Genoptim is a prescription-only medicine. I doubt the doctor would want to prescribe it for a runny nose. The withdrawal of Sulfarinol is suitable for reporting to the prosecutor's office.

Anna  (Anonymous, 89.228.138.) 3 years ago

Is anything already known? The last drops were left to me ....

Evaa (Anonymous, 31.183.176.) 3 years ago

It is a pity that sulfarinol and bioparox were withdrawn. I can only advise you that how I used Levofloxacin Genoptim - eye drops, solution or oftaquix - levofloxacin is by dripping into the throat and nose I cured the infected tonsils and the second time the nose. The sad thing is that we have to look for drugs with a different purpose to treat the bacterial nose.

Ewa.  (Anonymous, 79.191.31.) 3 years ago

Ja1982 - my nasal mucosa bursts after xylomethazolin and blood flies. The rest is ineffective. There are three different bottles standing next to me and nothing. Only fatty Sulfarinol helped.

covo (Anonymous, 88.156.141.) 3 years ago

@WitOld:

moze wyprobuj Rhinazin (w sprawie udrażniania), a Rinotac - spray oleisty nawilżający śluzówkę zawsze można dołożyć

WitOld (Anonymous, 188.147.1.) 3 years ago

covo (Anonymous, 88.156.141.) 3 years ago

@Dzastinka:

Dzastinka (Anonymous, 89.64.51.) 3 years ago

Covo:
Polecam przeczytać ulotkę jednego i drugiego,mi poleciła pani Laryngolog i działają super

covo (Anonymous, 88.156.141.) 3 years ago

@Dzastinka:
w jakim sensie POŁĄCZENIE Rinotac i Sinumedin? To raz.

Dzastinka (Anonymous, 37.30.114.) 3 years ago

Koniecpolska (Anonymous, 5.173.136.) 3 years ago

Netka  (Anonymous, 83.22.127.) 3 years ago

Doris (Anonymous, 213.156.126.) 3 years ago

Wylądowałam z drgawkami i obniżona temp ciała do 36.

marcin z łodzi (Anonymous, 83.4.234.) 3 years ago

Dorota (Anonymous, 178.43.19.) 3 years ago

Jeśli to komuś pomoże, polecam srebro koloidalne w sprayu do nosa w połączeniu z Xylodex ( oprócz cholorowodorku xylometozoliny zawiera także substancje regenerujące błonę śluzową nosa).

Koniecpolska (Anonymous, 5.173.136.) 3 years ago

Pisałam do producenta. W odpowiedzi informacja, że robią wszystko, by wznowić produkcję.
Żadnych konkretów.

ewu- (Anonymous, 83.6.166.) 3 years ago

Xylorin express działa? Woda morska, olejek eukaliptusowy, wyciąg z mięty - żaden z tych składników nie powinien udrażniać nosa.
Ja ostatnio kupiłam oxyrin (oksymetazolin). Powoduje u mnie silny ból w nosie, a skuteczność mocno średnia.

Miriam (Anonymous, 83.28.212.) 3 years ago
