Hello, I mistakenly dripped Dicortineff drops into a healthy ear for my 4-year-old daughter. Immediately afterwards, I put her on the other side and put the right ear. Can instillation of a healthy ear cause any undesirable effects? I will be grateful for an answer and advice on whether I should take any steps, e.g. rinse a healthy instilled ear with water.

Mistakenly instillation of a healthy ear does not pose a threat to the health and life of the child. Don't worry. It is also not an indication for a visit to the pediatrician. Simply, subsequent doses of the drug should be administered only to the infected ear. I enclose a link to a helpful entry: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/jak-stosowac-krople-do-uszu
