Can my daughter use Cetix and Nystatin at the same time to gargle?
The daughter has purulent inflammation of the frontal sinuses of the nasophoid and raids on the tonsils, she got last week Cetix antibiotic 2x 6ml, today the pediatrician added nystatin to it, ordered to gargle as if throat 4 times a day her. I wanted to ask if it is possible to combine? Can these two antibiotics work together? What time between cetix and nystatin do I need to keep? Daughter is 6.5 years old

Both of these drugs are available only on prescription and the legitimacy of their use can only be decided by the person making the diagnosis. For my part, I can only say that they do not interact with each other and there is no need to keep a distance, because one drug is applied topically (Nystatin) and the other systemic (Cetix).
