The beginning of Letrox activity is observed after 3-5 days. However, this is not synonymous with a complete disappearance of the symptoms of hypothyroidism. The dose of 25 micrograms is the lowest dose available on the market, it is usually the starting dose and you may need to increase the dose after a certain period of use of the drug and control of thyroid hormones tested. During periods of 2 to 4 weeks, the dose should be increased by 25 – 50 units until a maintenance dose level of 100 – 200 micrograms per day is reached.
