Sometimes it is so that after changing the composition of excipients, the drug acts differently on the body. However, I analyzed the composition of the excipients of both Xanax drugs - the previous Pfizer and the current one from Upjohn and they are identical. So, I don't know, there may be a difference from that. Perhaps the body has developed a tolerance to the drug and it will be necessary to increase the dose or change the method of treatment - here you should consult a doctor. If, after all, you connect the lack of effect of therapy with a change of manufacturer - you should report it to the appropriate institutions. The composition of the drug may be the same, but apparently the proportions are different. If someone feels at this stage that the drug does not work, they are already addicted to the maximum. These are benzodiazepines. Highly addictive drugs. Weaning is hell on earth. I feel sorry for people who will have to stop taking this drug because it doesn't work anymore. What doctor prescribes it for years. This should be punishable and such a doctor should lose the ability to practice his profession.
