Heartburn accompanies most future mothers. A pregnant woman suffering from heartburn should use a therapy that will not only alleviate troublesome ailments, but will be safe for the developing child, m.in omeprazole, antacids, e.g. tablets with calcium carbonate, magnesium carbonate or alginic acid or herbs for heartburn in pregnancy, such as linseed gruel or ginger tea. It is also worth trying home remedies for heartburn in pregnancy, e.g. chewing almonds or avoiding spicy, fatty, too sweet foods and carbonated drinks.
