Sleep is one of the basic biological activities of the body - without it, it is impossible to function properly on a daily basis. Insufficient sleep in a child can result in reduced concentration, weakened memory, difficulties in making decisions or solving problems, as well as reduced immunity and appetite disorders. It should be emphasized that sleep problems in children do not always have to be the result of an illness – they can be caused by excessive stress, poor sleep hygiene or strong emotions.
